The installation is pretty simple and it will work with all non-sense based launchers.</p></div></td></tr></table></blockquote><div class="Amp_Content_Hr"></div><blockquote class="Amp_Content_Item" cite="http://www.talkandroid.com/43082-focus-on-community-appwidgetpicker/"><table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td><div class="TxtCntnt"><p id="AutoGeneratedID-3">Hit up the <a rel="nofollow" href="http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=780828">thread on xda</a> to see more! All of the webOS devices released so far have been hampered by inexplicably poor industrial design and small screens. But with the TouchPad's much larger 9.7-inch display, the card-based multitasking paradigm will be able to reach its full potential. The card paradigm is also the primary edge that webOS has over iOS, since the latter doesn't really have as consistent and OS-wide a way to juggle multiple running apps. The TouchPad is blessedly not designed for or marketed at women, so the form factor and attendant ad campaign won't suffer needlessly the way that Pre's did. At 0.54 inches thick, the device is thicker than the iPad 2, but not to the point that its bulk will be off-putting. And the strong business orientation could minimize the impact of the "long tail for app stores" factor that I cited as a big barrier to the Pre's mass-market uptake. <br /></p></div><span class="Amp_Source_Button"><a rel="clipsource" target="_blank" title="http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/news/2011/06/hp-posts-nine-new-touchpad-videos-in-advance-of-july-1-launch.ars?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=rss" href="http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/news/2011/06/hp-posts-nine-new-touchpad-videos-in-advance-of-july-1-launch.ars?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=rss">Read more at arstechnica.com</a></span></td></tr></table></blockquote></div><div class="Amp_Bottom_Wrap"> </div></div></div><div class="Amp_Link">See this Amp at <a href="http://amplify.com/u/a151cc">http://amplify.com/u/a151cc</a></div><br/>Editorhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14066595790186012789noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7931241990166971830.post-40023713662169424142010-11-10T05:41:00.000-06:002010-11-10T05:41:55.853-06:00Google acknowledges Android Gmail attachment issues, invites users to help debug [TNW Mobile]<a href="http://feedproxy.google.com/%7Er/TheNextWeb/%7E3/znIjhxHTw0I/">Google acknowledges Android Gmail attachment issues, invites users to help debug [TNW Mobile]</a>: "<p><a href="http://thenextweb.com/mobile/files/2010/11/5565-android_notifications_super.jpeg"><img title="5565-android_notifications_super" src="http://thenextweb.com/mobile/files/2010/11/5565-android_notifications_super-260x173.jpg" alt="" height="173" width="260" /></a>Over the past couple of months, some Android users have noticed issues when trying to open attachments within the Gmail application on their Android smartphone. Scotty has some great sources however these sources led to Brown’s announcement that the next generation of Nexus, a developer phone, would be announced at a Samsung press event on November 8. We have good sources that tell us this is not the case. <strong><em>Also any press member who was originally invited to this event can look at the invitation itself, the invitation image file has the name of the phone</em></strong> that will be announced and that particular device has already been leaked all over the place.</p><br /><p>We are looking forward to seeing some extremely innovative ideas and speculation come to fruition on November 8th at the Samsung event however it is by no stretch the “Nexus 2″ is Samsung working on a developer phone, quite possibly however I don’t think we will see anything along those lines until way into 2011.</p>"Editorhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14066595790186012789noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7931241990166971830.post-65832372346818221652010-10-28T06:12:00.000-05:002010-10-28T06:12:06.439-05:00HTC Mecha Leaked On HTC Sense<a href="http://www.ubergizmo.com/15/archives/2010/10/htc_mecha_leaked_on_htc_sense.html">HTC Mecha Leaked On HTC Sense</a>: "<center><img title="HTC Mecha Leaked On HTC Sense" style="margin: 0px;" alt="HTC Mecha Leaked On HTC Sense" src="http://www.ubergizmo.com/photos/2010/10/htc-mecha-sense.jpg" border="0" /></center><br /><br /><p>Whispers of the HTC Mecha have been going around for some time and now some evidence of such a device has been leaked by HTC's own <a href="http://https//www.htcsense.com/uk/#account/create">HTC Sense site</a>. The site listed the Mecha along with the Desire HD and Desire Z when users tried to sign up for an account, confirming the existence of such a device. While that might have been a slip up, the picture of the phone didn't reveal much as it seems to be an image of the old HTC Hero, which we doubt is the Mecha. Still, at least it's a good sign of things to come. </p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <p>Permalink: <a href="http://www.ubergizmo.com/15/archives/2010/10/htc_mecha_leaked_on_htc_sense.html">HTC Mecha Leaked On HTC Sense</a> from <a title="Gadget Blog" href="http://www.ubergizmo.com/">Ubergizmo</a> | Hot: <a title="Macbook Air Review" href="http://www.ubergizmo.com/15/archives/2010/10/macbook-air-review.html">Macbook Air Review</a>,<br /><a title="iPhone 4 Review" href="http://www.ubergizmo.com/15/archives/2010/10/epic-4g-review.html">Epic 4G Review</a></p><div><br /><a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/%7Eff/ubergizmo?a=c8tYDtPTLEA:FoEw0nHmF8c:yIl2AUoC8zA"><img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/%7Eff/ubergizmo?d=yIl2AUoC8zA" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/%7Eff/ubergizmo?a=c8tYDtPTLEA:FoEw0nHmF8c:V_sGLiPBpWU"><img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/%7Eff/ubergizmo?i=c8tYDtPTLEA:FoEw0nHmF8c:V_sGLiPBpWU" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/%7Eff/ubergizmo?a=c8tYDtPTLEA:FoEw0nHmF8c:qj6IDK7rITs"><img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/%7Eff/ubergizmo?d=qj6IDK7rITs" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/%7Eff/ubergizmo?a=c8tYDtPTLEA:FoEw0nHmF8c:gIN9vFwOqvQ"><img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/%7Eff/ubergizmo?i=c8tYDtPTLEA:FoEw0nHmF8c:gIN9vFwOqvQ" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/%7Eff/ubergizmo?a=c8tYDtPTLEA:FoEw0nHmF8c:2NHeVcKWpUs"><img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/%7Eff/ubergizmo?i=c8tYDtPTLEA:FoEw0nHmF8c:2NHeVcKWpUs" border="0" /></a><br /></div>"Editorhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14066595790186012789noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7931241990166971830.post-62470967309576387432010-10-28T06:09:00.000-05:002010-10-28T06:09:16.787-05:00Apple Silently Pulls White iPhone 4 From Its Website [TNW Mobile]<a href="http://feedproxy.google.com/%7Er/TheNextWeb/%7E3/c8lsIRYR2ws/">Apple Silently Pulls White iPhone 4 From Its Website [TNW Mobile]</a>: "<p><a href="http://thenextweb.com/mobile/files/2010/10/101026-tech-iphone-white.grid-6x2.jpeg"><img title="101026-tech-iphone-white.grid-6x2" src="http://thenextweb.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/2010/10/101026-tech-iphone-white.grid-6x2-260x189.jpg" alt="" height="189" width="260" /></a>With the white iPhone 4 delayed until next Spring, it has left analysts and consumers to speculate that the handset will never actually make it to market and whether it will be absorbed into the next iPhone product refresh.</p><br /><p>There has been a interesting development in this story, an action by Apple itself. <a href="http://www.9to5mac.com/32639/apple-kills-the-white-iphone">9to5mac</a> noticed that the company <a href="http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_iphone/family/iphone?mco=OTY2ODA2OQ">has silently pulled</a> the white iPhone 4 from its product pages, leaving just the black iPhone 4 and the iPhone 3GS on the store.</p><br /><p><a href="http://thenextweb.com/mobile/files/2010/10/applewhiteiphone.png"><img title="applewhiteiphone" src="http://thenextweb.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/2010/10/applewhiteiphone-620x336.png" alt="" height="336" width="620" /></a></p><br /><p>With colour issues and light leakage plaguing the white model, perhaps Apple is taking the hard route and <a href="http://www.boygeniusreport.com/2010/10/27/apple-cancels-white-iphone-4/">waiting until next Spring</a> to roll out a completely new white iPhone device, right now it seems the most logical explanation.<a href="http://msnbcmedia1.msn.com/j/MSNBC/Components/Photo/_new/101026-tech-iphone-white.grid-6x2.jpg">Image Credit</a></p><br /><br /><br />[<strong>Notice:</strong> this is the RSS feed for ALL stories from across The Next Web - that means a lot of stories every day - for just our <a href="http://thenextweb.com/?topstories">top stories</a>, subscribe to our <a href="http://thenextweb.com/network/feeds/topstories">Top Stories RSS feed</a> here.]<br /><br /><div><br /><a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/%7Eff/TheNextWeb?a=c8lsIRYR2ws:Ro2eosQjYao:D7DqB2pKExk"><img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/%7Eff/TheNextWeb?i=c8lsIRYR2ws:Ro2eosQjYao:D7DqB2pKExk" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/%7Eff/TheNextWeb?a=c8lsIRYR2ws:Ro2eosQjYao:yIl2AUoC8zA"><img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/%7Eff/TheNextWeb?d=yIl2AUoC8zA" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/%7Eff/TheNextWeb?a=c8lsIRYR2ws:Ro2eosQjYao:V_sGLiPBpWU"><img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/%7Eff/TheNextWeb?i=c8lsIRYR2ws:Ro2eosQjYao:V_sGLiPBpWU" border="0" /></a><br /></div><img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/%7Er/TheNextWeb/%7E4/c8lsIRYR2ws" height="1" width="1" />"Editorhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14066595790186012789noreply@blogger.com0
