The megapixel ante has just increased when it comes to Android-powered phones, with Altek's Leo 3.5G being the latest model to hit the market. Boasting a 14-megapixel camera that can also do HD video recording, it will be accompanied by a 3.2-inch WVGA capacitive display, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, 3.5G (HSPA/WCDMA) support, GPS navigation, an accelerometer, a digital compass and handwriting recognition. Too bad it is still running on Android 2.1, where we hope an Android 2.2 Froyo update is in the works. While the 14-megapixel figure is impressive on paper, we say you are still better off with a dedicated digital camera if photo taking on-the-go is your passion.
